Biddeford and Saco Chamber of Commerce
The Biddeford and Saco Chamber of Commerce was interested in creating a graphic to highlight the unique qualities of the two towns. We settled on the alphabet approach to organize information in a fun and intuitive way. From there, I focused on creating an illustration that brought each lettered phrase together and gave the piece motion and activity.
The illustration was made by hand, conformed to a loose grid, both to ensure room for text and for the final poster print to be in scale. From there, the line drawing was scanned in to Photoshop where it was colored. Text and backgrounds were then added in Illustrator.
